492 SOTRG Det 2 Flies Final Mission
Major Daniel Kulp, 492d Special Operations Training Group Detachment 2, MC-130J evaluator pilot, runs checklists before take-off from Hurlburt Field, Florida, prior to the detachment's inactivation March 30, 2023. The detachment flew Air Force Special Operations Command's most advanced MC-130J, providing aircraft testing and development support, training courseware construction, contract oversight and future aircrew production to meet AFSOC's and USSOCOM's Capabilities Release priorities.
